PVC coated iron wire has the core wire of electric galvanized wire or hot dipped galvanized wire, with plastic coating as outer layer. The PVC coating and the inside wire are firmly combined together offering a protective layer and longer service life.
PVC / PE coated or painted wire is made in forms easy for binding and tying uses. The wire is popularly cut into cut wire, cut and looped into looped wire, or wound in coils, around sticks.

Surface: Plastic covering or plastic coating.
Color: Green, blue, gray, white and black; other colors also available on request.
Average tensile strength: 350 N/mm2 – 900 N/mm2.
Elongation: 8% – 15%.
Wire diameter before coating: 0.6 mm – 4.0 mm (8–23 gauge).
Wire diameter with coating: 0.9 mm – 5.0 mm (7–20 gauge).
Plastic layer: 0.4 mm – 1.5 mm.

PVC Coated Wire a Safe Option for Industrial Use
As noted in the industrial setting, safety comes as the first consideration.
PVC coated wire is the least hazardous since the outer layer is made of soft, flexible PVC that does not have sharp points.
